Core Covercard Service

The Core Covercard service provides both Helpdesk and Repairs for a fixed charge.

The Core Covercard service includes an ICT repair service. This service includes a qualified engineer to attend site and conduct fault analysis for the following:

  • Service for approved equipment owned by the school. Items under warranty (for equipment purchased through EICTS) will be referred back to the supplier (warranty details need to be provided by the school). This may incur a delay to a repair.
  • Server configuration issues, network issues and support for operating systems (this will depend on continuing support from the provider for example, maintenance releases etc). All issues identified that result from an incompatibility problem or work carried out by other providers will be referred back to the school
  • Repair of printers and peripherals where the item is not beyond economical repair.
  • Audio and visual repairs
  • Science equipment
  • Other equipment
  • All consumables will be chargeable - this includes projector bulbs
